Polskok Sp. z o. o. has received a grant from the European Union for the project: ‘Balanced Business: Efficient Production, Systems and Energy’ under the programme European Funds for Małopolska 2021-2027, action 8.7. Business development supporting equitable transformation.

The aim of the project is to introduce a new production process and services for foam cutting and processing.

As part of the project, Polskok Sp. z o.o. will purchase equipment and achieve the objectives of:
– a CNC foam cutting machine – this will enable the introduction of a new foam cutting and processing service with a reduction in waste through planned cutting and maximum use of raw materials. Automated cutting will also reduce production time, which will contribute to reduced energy consumption.
– solar panelof up to 50 kW – will reduce energy consumption throughout the production cycle
– software for handling the company’s internal processes and production planning – will contribute to a reduction in paper consumption through the introduction of digital documentation, automate the flow of information within the company and help to use the company’s resources more efficiently for production planning.

The target group for the product innovation, which is the introduction of a foam cutting and processing service for external companies using a modern CNC machine, includes:
– Sports clubs, leisure centers and sports halls
– Schools, sports colleges and gymnasiums
– Companies that organize events, leisure and sporting activities
– Individual sports enthusiasts
– Companies specializing in the sale of sports equipment to clubs, schools and leisure centers

The project will result in: the launch of a new range of foam-cutting services, the creation of 2 new jobs and an expanded market, while reducing waste and energy consumption.
